Overview
Calcium silicate board is made of loose short fibers such as inorganic mineral fibers or cellulose fibers as reinforcing materials, and siliceous-calcium materials as the main cementing material. After pulping, molding, and curing in high temperature and high pressure saturated steam to accelerate the reaction, formed sheet made of calcium silicate gel. It is a new type of building and industrial board with excellent performance for fireproof, moisture-proof, soundproof, insect-proof, and also has good durability. It is an ideal decorative board for suspended ceilings and partitions.

Classification
Calcium silicate board is a new type of inorganic building material, because of its high strength, light weight, good processability and non-combustibility, it is widely used in ship bulkheads, suspended ceilings and non-load-bearing walls, and other places with fire protection requirements. Calcium silicate board can be divided into calcium silicate board for heat preservation and calcium silicate board for decoration.
Calcium Silicate Board for Heat Preservation
Calcium silicate board for thermal insulation is called microporous calcium silicate, it is a white, hard thermal insulation material with the characteristics of light bulk density, high strength, low thermal conductivity, high temperature resistance, corrosion resistance, cut ability and saw ability. It is widely used in the heat preservation, heat insulation, fire and sound insulation of equipment pipes, walls and roofs in electric power, metallurgy, petrochemical, construction, shipbuilding and other fields. The thickness is usually above 30mm, and the density is 200-1000kg/m3.
Calcium Silicate Board for Decoration
Calcium silicate board for decoration. Calcium silicate board was invented by the American OCFG company. It is a new type of building board known for its comprehensive performance. It has been promoted and developed in developed countries since the 1970s. Europe, the United States, Japan, Australia and China Taiwan are the most common countries and regions where calcium silicate boards are used. China was successfully developed in the early 1980s, entered the development stage in the mid-1980s, and was widely promoted and applied in the late 1990s. The thickness is 4-20mm, and the length and width are mainly 1220*2440mm. At the same time, there are decorative calcium silicate ceilings processed from large-size calcium silicate boards, which are widely used in suspended ceilings because of their fire-proof and anti-sagging advantages.
Product Performance
Fireproof Performance
Calcium silicate board is a non-combustible grade material. In the event of a fire, the board will not burn or produce toxic smoke.
Waterproof Performance
Calcium silicate board has good waterproof performance. It can still maintain stable performance in places with high humidity such as toilets and bathrooms, without swelling or deformation.
High Strength
Calcium silicate board has high strength, and the strength of 6mm thick board greatly exceeds that of 9.5mm thick ordinary gypsum board. The calcium silicate board wall is solid and reliable, not easy to be damaged or broken.
Dimensionally Stable
Calcium silicate board adopts advanced formula and is produced under strict quality control. The wet expansion and dry shrinkage rate of the board are controlled in the most ideal range.
Heat and Sound Insulation
Calcium silicate board has good thermal insulation performance, and the thermal insulation performance of 10mm thick partition wall is obviously better than that of ordinary brick wall, and it has a good sound insulation effect.
Long Lasting
Calcium silicate board has stable performance, acid and alkali resistance, is not easy to corrode, and will not be damaged by moisture or insects, can guarantee a long service life.
